About Me

My name is Aleksandar Pashev. I was born in 1974 in Asenovgrad—a town that will always be part of me, no matter where in the world I live and work.

My life has never followed a straight line. In 1993 I moved to Austria as a student, to Innsbruck. It was my first real encounter with life outside Bulgaria. There I learned discipline, independence and, above all, that nothing comes for free.

I later returned to Bulgaria and completed my military service in unit 22120, known as the “Black Regiment”, in Simeonovgrad. It was a demanding period that taught me resilience in a very real way.

After the army, my path took me to Germany, to Coburg. I worked, learned, tried and made mistakes. I eventually returned to Bulgaria and became the owner of citrus fruit warehouses in Parvenets—my first serious lessons in trade, risk and responsibility.

The next major chapter was London. I lived and worked there for ten years. I met my wonderful wife, built a successful business and sold it in 2013. It was more than a transaction; it was the end of an important chapter.

We returned to Bulgaria, where our two children, Alex and Angela, were born—by far the most important “project” of my life.

During this period, my wife and I created the 4A Natural brand and built its online shop from the ground up. The name comes from the first letters of our family names: Aleksandar, Anelia, Alex and Angela. We developed it step by step, with hard work, personal commitment and no outside investors. The project grew successfully and was later sold. The brand continues to develop today, which is a clear sign to me that we built something stable and meaningful.

At the same time, I founded an SEO and IT company in Bulgaria that remains active today. We create websites and optimise them for genuine visibility in Google—without empty promises, tricks or “magic”. Just work, logic and long-term thinking.

Eventually, my family and I decided to move to Spain. Today we live and work here and are developing a separate business in Spain while maintaining our connection with Bulgaria. I believe a person can be a citizen of the world without forgetting where they started.

Life abroad has not always been easy. Clear, organised and humanly written information for immigrants is often missing: what to do, where to go, what to expect and what nobody tells you. I learned many things the hard way, through mistakes, time and money.

This is the purpose of this blog: to help. It brings together practical information, personal experience and useful guidance for people considering emigration or already living abroad. No sugar-coating, false optimism or claims that everything is perfect.

The current focus is Spain, because this is where we now live and work. Over time, the blog may also expand to other countries where I have lived or which I know well. The idea will remain the same: to be useful.

If this blog helps even one person avoid a mistake, save time or reduce unnecessary stress, then it has done its job.

I am Aleksandar, and this is my story.
